Greenpeace asked me to produce an illustration for a 2m x 20m banner that they were to print for a campaign. Sadly it ended up not being used; the campaign it was supposed to be for, changed direction slightly, which meant the materials that were printed were different. Still, I think we were all happy with the final image, and hopefully it can be used for something in the future.
The original brief was for an image that would quickly resonate with delegates, and media channels, across Europe. At the pencil stages we worked through a number of fables, myths and stories that might have worked before choosing the Pied Piper of Hamlin.
